Sunday Shopping

Hi, Guys! This pretty much only applies to those in the Hampton Roads area, but I hope to make it up North someday! I was wondering if anyone would like to join me to go vitamin/supplement hunting on Sunday afternoon? I'd like to go to GNC/Advanced Nutrion/VitaminShoppe/The Heritage, etc. I've got to try that liquid protein ASAP and get it ordered, if I can stand the taste. We could meet somewhere and ride together. Maybe around 2/3ish on Sunday???? My surgery is only 8 days away!!!!!!!!! Autumn? Christine? Kelli? Anyone? Amber

I just went to email you, my appointment is at 1pm on Churchland Blvd. I have no idea what is out in Suffolk/Chesapeake/Portsmouth area. What time would be best to meet and where???? Can't wait! Amber

I would love too! In fact, I need to grab some vitamins, too. Not sure where you can buy the liquid protein locally, but I do know that the Vitamin Shoppe now carries Protein Delite in the smaller jugs (1 pound) and they also carry Syntrax. But, you have to buy them to taste them (but you can return them if you don't like them). The heritage (in my personal opinion) is no better than the other places for vitamins....just farther away. And I don't recall them carrying protein powder (could and I just didn't see it). But, it might be a waste to drive all the way there when you can get everything from the Vitamin Shoppe, GNC and Walmart. Anyways....email me with time and location info. Jill 263/167/145

Sure, not a problem! I actually live a few blocks from The Heritage, so it's not too out of the way for me, hehe! I know that living at the oceanfront can be a big burdon, people hate driving out here unless they are going to the beach. I know there is a GNC & Walmart in and near the Lynnhaven Mall and there is a Vitamin Shoppe at Independence, do you know of others, or where do you recommend we should go??? Amber

Hi Amber... I LOVE The Heritage. I have taken a few classes there and love to shop books, gifts, and everything else in that store.. Good luck on your vitamin hunt Sunday !! My husband is on leave from Thursday to Monday or I would ask to tag along also !!! I know you are getting ready for that big day !!!! Dana

Personally, I would start at the Vitamin Shoppe. Only because that is where I know that I can get most of my vitamins (at a fairly decent price) and some protein. Plus, it's part of my personal comfort zone. Plus, I'm not sure what GNC carries in the way of protein, or what their policy is with regards to returning it. I get my calcium and my Centrum from Walmart. everything else I buy from th Vitamin shoppe. But, where would YOU like to go???? Also, anyway we could do it a bit earlier vice later? My youngest is going out of town for a week (YAHOO!!! Empty house!) and hubby may want to do something that day. Let me know. Jill 263/166/145
