Thats just my luck. Well I am in the clear now. I will be having it on July 27. I have to say that all went pretty fast for me. I started the whole process in the end of may and all my stuff is done except the surgery. So for all of you who has already had it knows how busy I have been.. Then add 2 kids on top of that and take care of a handycapt mother. lol BUSY.... I cant wait to meet alot of you in person. I see that some of you go out from time to time. I would love to do that. Make friends with people who can relate. I have made one good friend so far.. HI CHEYRL! and look forward to makeing alot more. So im all the things alot of people went through. Nervous, happy, excited, scared, Hope things go well... I do have a question.... Any cheap places to buy vitamins?? And the other stuff? Any help would be appreciated... I should start buying them now I suppose. Well I will quit before this gets really long. It is nice to be able to say something and everyone here knows what Im talking about or going through. Anyway. Hi there Autumn, July 27th will be here before you know it! I take prenatal vitamins that I get at Wal-mart. I have trouble with low iron and these seem to help more than regular vitiamins. I can tell you that I did not want to take vitamins at first. The thought of swallowing a pill of that size was more than I could handle. I used childrens chewables for the first few weeks. Your doc will tell you what he wants you do do. One thing that I did use a lot of was sugar free popsycles. I still eat them all the time. Good luck on your up-comming surgery! You will more than likely have a million questions between now and then, feel free to ask away. The people here are so helpfull. God bless, Cathy

Hi, Autumn. I too will be having surgery soon (7/19), who is your doctor? When you meet with the nutritionist they will give you a big packet with a list of all the supplements, meds, etc. you can take, where to buy them, and their stats. I saw mine yesterday, she even gave me some samples. It's amazing all the stuff that is available. I'm taking Flintstone completes, they have a generic brand available at Walmart & Target that is just as good. There is so much information on this board about free stuff and what to buy, I just suggest going back and reading older posts. Nice to meet you, I live in VA Beach!!! See you around, Amber

Hi Amber, My Doc is Dr Spencer. He is really good too. I have done alot of research on him and his practice. I am very excited. I know you are too! I have already seen the nutritionist a few weeks ago. She gave me a packet with a few free samples in it. I think I will be going to walmart for most of my stuff. Some of the stuff she told me about was really high in price. Good luck with your surgery. I look forward to meeting you! Talk soon! Autumn

Dr. Spencer is very good. He'll be working with Dr. Moore on my surgery. I just bought some B12 & Liquid Calcium on Vitacost.com They had pretty good prices and I want to take as much liquid stuff as I can. I don't want to crush anymore pills than I have to! I plan on taking a trip to different local spots too. Care to join me??? Hey Christine, how bout you??? Amber

your too damn cute autumn! i hope you will have a good support system at home when you get your surgery. i know your home situation and you cant and wont be able to take care of everyone. you need to tell them to help you out as much as possible. since you have your two little ones as well! i got most of my vits. at walmart. i have a whole bunch of soups and jello, puddings i thought i was going to use, but if you want them for yourself you can have them. we need to get up with each other again. i love dr spencer, of course he did my surgery. he is a funny funny man! i love him... his whole office personal is great. thats my experience. not everyone has the same experience..... but anyways... good luck and i will come up there to see you on the second day. you will feel better then!!! see ya! cheryl
