Boogie Weekend
G'morning MzI'mNOTBettyCrocker!
Heck, I can one-up YOU on the camera thingie .....I DID bring a camera and still have NO pictures to show for it!
There have been a gazillion links posted with pictures in them -- here are a few that Ive already looked at on both forums. OH has been really messin' up lately and it's truncating all the links, so you may have to actually CUT AND PASTE the entire thing into your browser (in lieu of just clicking).

WoW! Ask and you shall receive! Lei thanks so much for the condensed version. If you ever find youself in the DC area let me know. I'd love to visit. In fact I bet I could get a group together for a lunch or dinner.
Sorry we didn't get more time to visit
Cathy ( Betty Who? she said with an innocent smile)
You're welcome Cathy - my pleasure!
I promised my hubby Id take a lotta pictures, since he couldn't be there this time, and of course, I renigged on that promise and didn't take ANY - so the list I put together for you this morning also went over to his email account. Surely, with about 300 photos, total, that'll be enough to keep me outta the dog house.
Trust me, I find myself in DC a lot - love that town and Ive probably been that way about a dozen times in the last two years.
Hey? Although JULY tends to be hot as Hades in DC - maybe we should plan a impromptu GROUP DAY there? Meet somewhere for breakfast, then head over to all the monuments and museums in DC - put about 10 miles, walking, on our feet - then head somewhere for dinner/tapas/drinks/dancing? Some or all of the above?
Based on the Navy's schedule for the rest of the year - I'm gonna have a lot of FREE time on my hands.. I would love to make it out that way (hey, is DC near Fredricksburg, it is, right?) ... spend time with ya'll, hit a few sites, walk, laugh, talk, laugh some more, etc - keeps me busy, out of trouble and not in my cabinets trying to find the next item to GRAZE ON!
Hugs - Lei
I wouldn't say DC is necessarily NEAR Fredericksburg, but it's on the way for sure!!! We are right off I95, I am exit 130B, you HAVE to pass me to get to HER!!! So if you are going, stop here, drop off car, and we'll head out together!! Course we could spend a night playing with the "Frednecks" on the way. LOLOLOL I'm in anytime baby!!!!! OXOXOXOXOOXOXO
