Man .. just when I thought he was in the clear .. they took Bill off of some of the anethesia .. got his oxygen to 60 % and he started to go back into critical state again . His blood pressure is now back to being irriatic - his heart rate irratic .. fever is back .. there was mucus in his lungs , but they went in to the lungs with a paddle and suctioned as much of it as they could . His incision has now been opened . And at first it was packed .. now they have opened it completly with a type of mesh covering it .. and several suction drains . Stephanie .. well she is holding on . They may be admitting her today for dehydration, and put her on IV's to hydrate .They are giving her meds to help relax her and to help with the nasuea .. she can not keep anything down .. So .. double prayers need to go back up .. I told her we are all here for her.. and so expect many good things . I really wanted to report good news .. and in some ways it is .. He is still with us and fighting hard . Love yall .. will update again soon ! Natalie

Natalie, I am from the AL Board. I have been praying for this man ( and his poor wife) , and am so sorry that things are going down hill again. But as you say, he is still alive which is really a miracle with all he has been through. God Bless him and you for keeping everyone up to date. Know that he is being prayed for by many others than just the VA board. God is the greatest healer of all. I am continuing to pray for a miracle. Grace and Peace, Margie

I can't believe he is so ill!!! He fought so hard for this surgery and seemed so tough and so strong! Just goes to show us how dangerous this surgery can be. He has so many people routing for him that he just HAS to get better soon!!! I talked with Steph yesterday and she said she was doing fine - I asked her about her proteins and liquids etc but I guess with all of the worry over Bill she is not doing as well as she thought.... These two people really need our support!! Jackie

Oh Nat. I logged in hoping to hear that he was moved to a regular room. My prayers will continue for both he and Stephanie. I can not imagine. My husband was against the surgery. He told me over and over how scared he was that something like this would happen to me. Ever bit of news he hears about Will just breaks his heart because he knows that Stephanie is living his biggest fear. He asks about both every night when he gets home from work. My families prayers go out to them, and to you. Thank you for being our presence in their lives. Laney

Hi Natalie, I am from the Massachusetts board and I've been praying for both Bill to get better and for Stephanie to have the strength she needs during this trying time. Please let them know that so many of us care. My heart is just breaking and I come on everyday hoping to hear that good news. I hope nobody minds that I posted here. Karianne
