Back from Cinncinati
Hi Guys...Well, I made it back safe and sound...a very long ride yesterday...didn't think we would ever get home but the ride was beautiful! We left the Millineum Hotel at 12:10 pm and didn't get home until 10pm...We were in meetings from 9am-10pm on Friday, and Saturday! Wow, back into the work force again feels great. I met some very exciting people and had a blast. Alot of work involved but the conference in Richmond is going to be all fun!!!!! Looking so forward to that...Can't wait to see and meet my bestest buddies!!!! I felt lost without the internet so it will take me a few days to catch up with what is going on. I know I missed you guys! Jill, Hope you had a wonderful birthday! I thought about you on Saturday but didn't have your number with me. Hope it was great. When I got home last night, I found this box on my front porch....thank you soooooo much for all the goodies, Jill. The Angel Jeans fit!!!! Size 11!!!!!! Course, they are a little long...imagine that!! The skirts are adorable and can't wait to get some shirts to go with them. The Mary Kay was really a surprise!!! Thank you...I needed it all. You are just sooo good to me. Wish you were coming to the conference...gonna miss you. Well, guys, how was your weekend????? Love ya all.

Welcome back, sweetums. Glad you had a wonderful time. Wish I were travelin', too. My traveling will be confined to the immediate area for a while ($). And the size 11s fit!! Lucky dog. I am waiting patiently for the ones I bought a week ago to snap.

Today is the last day I am required to be at work, altho I will have to be there other days to further organize the Latin class--and to prepare work for the re-cert. class I am taking the last week of the month.
I am steeling myself to make that phone call--to the number my work 'friend' gave me. I have thought about it for a week and think I have enough courage built up today. You know, some of our mother's teachings we tossed aside happily and others are quite ingrained--like "Thou shalt not call boys on the phone. That is chasing and young ladies do NOT pursue young gentlemen. Let the men come to you." I almost have a physical reaction thinking about it. I think I have desensitized myself enoug over the past week to pull it off today, though!
Hope your upcoming week is as eventufl as last! I have already started preparing for the inspection crew--my dad and sister. Janny is ok. It ia hard for me to even approach my dad's exacting standards, though.
Oh well--he may just get some more dog hair on him

Hi Lois...I want to hear all about that phone call you make today. Life is so short, enjoy it. Don't leave yourself wondering what could have been...who knows what will happen.
We did have a wonderful time in Cincinnati...although it rained most of the time but we were at the convention center and didn't have to go outside at all. I learned alot and think I can do this job...yup, I think I am climbing onboard for the long haul.

So good to have you back with us. You were missed "BIG MUCH" and I am so glad to have you back. Glad you had a wonderful trip. I didn't realize this trip was for you. I thought it was Jim's business trip so I had you relaxing by the pool while he was in doing the boring business thing.
