Thanks for the info, Christina! Since I'm basically poor, I'll be staying at the Frontier. I'm looking forward to touring the different hotels; they sound great! I hear your pain on the dam thing! JoAnn

Hey, Mother Clucker!!!! Take plenty of nickels with you!!!! I love to sit at the nickels machine! Don't win a bunch but don't lose a bunch either. When I was on my cruise, I did hit the jackpot with it and won $75!!! Next day we were in St. Thomas and I bought a necklace with the winnings...Have fun and do plenty of walking...are you going alone? Can't wait to see you at the Boogie and Splash!!!! I love you bunches. Have a safe trip. Hugs, Betsy

Here's my list of "must sees" in Sin City: Classic Vegas showgirls - check out Jubilee! at Bally's. You can also purchase a sep. ticket for a backstage tour, and get money off the cost of your show seats if you purchase both at the same time. The tour is totally worth it! Chippendales - at under $35 per ticket, this is probably one of the cheapest shows in Vegas. They're at the Rio. The Chippendales are ALWAYS worth it! ALSO... you may be able to get your picture taken with them. They were outside the MGM, across from New York New York, on a sidewalk one morning, so, I got my photo with them. They take the photo, print it out right there, and sell it to you. It's a cute little souvenir to have. (oh la la!) Fremont Street - Get off the strip, and go to "Old Vegas". Yeah, some of the casinos are stale and yucky, but the light show (free) over Fremont Street is AWESOME. You won't want to miss it! Skip the deep-fried twinkies, though. Trust me! Fountains at Bellagio - Yeah, another freebie, but spectacular. Every show is a little different, with different music. See it more than once! Star Trek Experience - Las Vegas Hilton. If you've ever enjoyed Star Trek, this is an awesome time. Take the backstage tour, too, and do both the Klingon and Borg Encounter "rides". It's like a little bit of Disney Epcot in Vegas. The Strip - No need to gamble, each hotel is breathtakingly beautiful in many aspects with its own theme - be sure to visit the Luxor, Excalibor, Bellagio, New York New York, Paris, and of course you've GOT to see the Venetian. There are gondola rides inside and outside of the Venetian. The shops are beautiful. And there's a little cafe in the Venetian that looks more like it's just a fruit stand than a cafe, and it has the BEST Italian Wedding Soup I have EVER had. Oh, and if you're not a smoker, and are prone to the sneezies when around a lot of cigarette smoke, TAKE YOUR CLARITIN (or the antihistamine of your choice)! None of the casinos ban smoking, except in the high-stakes poker rooms, so everywhere you go you will be inhaling that nasty stuff! It is a non-smoker's hell, I promise you. Also... in most of the casinos... so long as you're sitting there gambling, your drinks are free. Enjoy! Kathie

Oh! And one thing I forgot... The $10 cheeseburger at Jimmy Buffett's is SO worth it. It's a good time! ~K
