I feel beyond wonderful!!! Not sure about your area but here in Virginia Beach, almost every 7-11 has 1 Crystal Light slurpee every day. What I was told with the straw thing is that you should definitely not use a straw for the first year or so and later only occassionally and that's only if you figure out a way to control the air being taken in...and you probably won't so my surgical group highly advises against straws ever It's really funny because I completely forgot and then was TOTALLY confused .

Christine.... YEAH !!!!!! You are on your way !!! I am so happy for you !!! Be careful around Shore Drive, but you know that !!! Don't wanna find you flattened out before your time !!! I didn't care for the Crystal Lite slurpees. Maybe it was the flavor or something..but I thought they were way too sour !!! Dana

Yeah is right!! I am definitely on my way!! I don't walk on Shore Drive because I know it is really dangerous. I walk on the Cape Henry Trail which starts behind my condo and goes all the way to the ocean front. I want to be thin but not that thin! The CL slurpees are definitely a bit sour but I was hot and it was a nice change.

Hey Party Princess (aka sweet Christine), I am so glad you are feeling better. I am dreading the first few days because I know it's going to be a hard go, but once you get past that I hear it's one heck of a trip. Can't wait to go on track. As far as the Slurpee goes. I can't do a big one even now.....they are just too cold. I get a brain freeze........I know, I know....you are thinking what brains but I assure you there is a little grey matter up there somewhere. Love you bunches, Kathy-25 days & counting til surgery

Hey Kathy, It really was amazing because I felt like death warmed over yesterday and then today I felt like a new woman! It really wasn't pain, more like discomfort. I haven't used pain meds since Saturday evening (surgery was Friday). Even when I did take it Saturday evening, the only reason I did was because I have rheumatoid arthritis and it was flaring up. I wanted tylenol but the orders said that I could have tylenol with codeine but not plain tylenol...makes sense, right? LOL Your day is coming soon soon sooon! Hugs Christine
