Thanks Kathy! I am glad that is behind me too. Hopefully, God willing - I won't ever have to have another one. I am one step closer to getting to the other side! Yay! Andrea

Hey, Andrea! Glad you're feeling better now. I, too, was really worried about having the blood gases taken, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I had feared. I HATE NEEDLES! It was over quickly, and wasn't that bad. I know you must be excited--your day is almost here! Please let me know if I can do anything for you! JoAnn

Thanks JoAnn! Miss Prissy told me the same thing about the blood gases. She said if you turn your head and talk to somebody it is over quick - now I just gotta get somebody in there to talk to me. I'm sure I am "freaking out" about nothing especially since I'm okay with them cutting my stomach. I was "remembering" bits and pieces yesterday and they had to page Dr. Schirmer to come down and do my endoscopy (he didn't know I was on the schedule for one that day) and I remember (now) thinking - they had better not have to page him the morning of my surgery to remind him of that. I am just trying to get things together so I can be ready and getting more excited every day to get to the other side. I have bought some different proteins and have been collecting samples here and there so I will have some things to try after surgery. So far I have liked most of the stuff I tried, but of course that will probably change after surgery. If you know of anybody who has some things they don't like - I will gladly take them. Have an awesome day! Andrea
