I'm baaaack!!! :)
Hi everyone! I'm back home. I got released at about 10am. They took my drain out so I am very relieved...That was the weirdest feeling having the drain out. I feel great. I am pretty bloated and a bit achy but nothing too bad. I was scared but I don't remember much after my surgeon came by. He said, "Don't worry, you'll do great" I said, "So will you...errr...u better!" I was, of course, still giving everyone a hard time up until I went unconsious. Norfolk General has this policy of every person looking at your wrist band and asking your name and social before continuing the conversation and of course the same orderly wheeled me around several times and as soon as he would ask me questions I would start harrassing him about not remembering my name and all that. I kept everyone entertained. Then I proceeded to do some "morphine dialing" so many of my friends were entertained as well. Thanks for all of the well wishes and thanks to Lei for getting the update from my momma and Dana, Jill & Cheryl for coming to visit and running me throught the halls like a psycho! That speed walkin was all Dana...I think she was running us both over with my IV stand...she decided to push because I wasn't going fast enough.
Anyway, I'm so glad to be done and home and now I am a big fat loser!! WOOO HOOOO!!!! (Although all of this gas and fluid has left me at the same place weight wise I know that it will be gone very soon!!)
Thanks again for everything!
Christine
