I have been approved for my tummy tuck today. Info was sent to insurance co. on May 16, and I got the call from Dr. office today. I very excited but also scared. Did a 50 mile walk this weekend for the Relay For Life and had a great time. My feet and knees don't like me now though.

Congratulations on your approval. I had my WLS 2 1/2 years ago and want very badly to get a tummy tuck, a thigh and arm lift. Where would I start in order to find a plastic surgeon that can help me battle my insurance company. Where did you go first to start this process? And what surgeon did you go to that got you approved? I live in Richmond, so I would be willing to travel if needed. Thank you, Lisa

Hi Lisa My plastic surgeon is in Richmond and I personally think he is awesome. He went above and beyond on me and I am so grateful! If your interested in numbers and name I can email them to you. Go look at my profile and read everything and you will see what I mean about above and beyond! He works out of mcv and saint mary's so you have options on where you want your surgery! If interested let me know! He also got me approved for a panniculectomy, hip reduction, hernia repair and did an anchor cut on me to tighten my waist line! He is a blessing for me and I highly recommend him. HE is very straight forward. Plus if you need revisions after first surgery he does them for free and you only pay hospital cost. Again you will see that in my profile. You have a wonderful day! Lisa

Thanks so much, I really enjoyed the walk. It was for a good cause. I did the walk at Woodbridge, with my sister.
