Truncal Vagotomy anybody?

I just had this surgery on Friday and new it was going to be painful but oh my GOD, I didn't know they meant THAT painful. I'm about to die here. ANybody else have it done? It's the surgery where they cut the nerve that sends acid to the stomach. Would love to talk with somebody else that's had it. Thanks!

Oh, Lori, I am soo sorry you are in pain. I have no idea what this is but I can sure sympathize with you...I have had 23 surgeries..all painful. I hope this clears up all that is going on with you. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help. Hugsl Betsy

Sorry to hear about your pain, Lori. I haven't heard of the surgery before. Were you have major stomach acid/reflux issues? I hope that you get some relief very soon. Best wishes, Kathy
