Has anyone had lap band surgery by Dr Kellum at MCV?

I am going to have surgery soon (waiting for a date) and was just wondering how others found the experience!

I had RNY with Dr. Kellum. Formerly they did not perform many lap bands at MCV so you may have to post a few times until you get an answer. I did hear from someone that they are increasing the number of lap bands they perform there--this is second hand info. though, from the professor who is running the research program I volunteered for. Sorry I am not of more help, Lois

No, but you're not too far away from Fairfax VA, right? Dr. Elariny did my lap band at INOVA Fairfax. Great surgeon. Katie M. 298/278/145
