Hello
Tracy,
It's common, actually. I'm only one month further out than you and I too stopped for a long time. I had to up my liquids and protein and drop the carbs back down to get it started again.
I have a little bigger appetite now and can tolerate more types of foods, so it's easier to eat badly. But I still have 66 lbs to go to my personal goal and I refuse to let this tool go to waste.
I'm sending you hugs to help you look back over your eating and habits and see what can be changed.
Super hugs,
Tonya

Hi Tracy,
What Tonya said. I am not as far out as you two, but have also been plagued with big slow downs. I still keep a food jornal and find that helps a lot. When I am not losing as I want to I look back at what I have been eating. After my stomach healed I went through a spell of "WOW I can try this, and this and this now". I have found I have no business eating popcorn because it is wasted calories for me, potatoes,
too .
I upped my protein by almost double (My doctor had said "minimum of 50g", but didn't say how much better 100g is!). Several members here suggest that and I am now a convert. I also have to MAKE myself get out and move around. Sounds silly, but right now I teach AND coach. On practice nights I get home about 6pm. Match nights run much later, say, 8-10p. With a schedule like this I really have to be creative with getting in walking, and overload on walking on the weekends. Back in Feb. and early March when I was hardly losing at all, I was hardly walking at all.
If you look at your diet and fluid and exercise I'm sure you will find a few things you can change to kick start your loss again.
Good luck!
Lois
