The manufacturers used to market it here on OH. Many folks used to joke about it quite a bit. My own opinion... I think it is very valuable for folks to get to learn measurements using measuring spoons and cups and a food scale so they can recognize portion sizes. Visual measurement is definitely good. I just don't think you need to spend so much money on something like that when you can use tools already in the house. I also think it is good to put what you think is a set portion on a plate every so often and then measure it to make sure you don't suffer from head-portion-sprawl. Kathy
