Hi everyone! I'm a new member, old RNYer. I am looking for a PCP in the Richmond area that is REALLY familiar with issues surrounding the long term effects of WLS. I am finding that there are a lot of "little things" to remember about treating our new bodies that a run of the mill doctor is not aware. My insurance won't cover visits to Dr. Hutcher, as I have an HMO now. Otherwise I would just visit there and see Barbara. So if any of you have a PCP that you know is really comfortable treating patients who have had WLS, especially RNY that would be a great help. Thanks! 280/150/160 9years this June!

My cousin and aunt are 21 and 19 years post op respectivitly and they use Richmond Family Practice. I am one year post op and use Hamilton Family Practice. Both seem to know a lot about this and are very willing to help. Tammy C
