EGD/ endoscopy done today !!!

Well, I had it done today at 2:30 pm..and hopefully all will be better now. The doc said that he couldn't even get the tool in it at first and it was closed to about 2mm. He ballooned it to 10mm and said I may need it repeated in the future, but doing too much at once could cause a perforation. I started dry heaving in Xray while they were checking for a leak..... I am soooooooooo glad it is over with. I am ready to eat !!!!!!..lol

Thank God they fixed you! I have been praying for you! And he answered!!!! Im so happy you are fixed and "normal" now! Now you can enjoy your surgerys tool better! Was it painful? Did they have to put you to sleep? Thank God its over! Cheryl

Hey Cheryl, It was no problem. The IV start didn't hurt and I got an IV dose of Demerol for pain and Versed, which is conscious sedation. So I was painfree and don't remember a thing. I have cute little pictures too !!! Talk soon .. Dana
