Topic: RE: Let's get a new TEXAS group going!

Topic: RE: So How Do You Know?
How do you know if your pouch is stretched, and just how much should you be able to eat at three years out?
Topic: RE: To much turkey?
I feel ya, luckly the white meat wasn't dry. I had to leave the house just to get away from the food for a while. I'm working to get my water in now since I've already made turkey soup for the rest of the week. Turkey sandwich on pumpernickle with gouda cheese for breakfast sounds good right now.
Topic: RE: To much turkey?
So how much turkey is to much? Just a spoonful of potatoes and veggies. But then there's the dang yard bird. Smoked with hickory and a tasty raspberry honey mustard glaze. So 6 servings later of turkey and nothing else, is it just protein? 1 oz of turkey has 5.69g of protein. If your not tired of eating turkey and you don't care are want any of the other food and your not over eating? When is enough turkey enough?

Does your multi-vitamin have iron in it? Did they say anything about your calcium levels? Dr. B has all his patients expically the women take calcium just to root off osteoporosis.

Topic: RE: Trapped by Choclate
I think a lot of it was stress eating, most of it happened when Julie got the fluid out of her lapband but now that she has a sleeve I notice it because she isn't eating. I know I can get it under control. I just need to start fromk scratch and go back thru my diet from the begining as if I just had surgery. I work 10 hour days and I'm lifting cases all day so my arms and chest are toning up as my Doc said sat. In 7 days I have put on 8 pounds and it just freaked me out that I gained weight.
Topic: RE: Trapped by Choclate
I have put on about 15 pounds and I'm hoping it mostly muscle because I have been trying to take it back off and it only goes down about 1 or 2 pounds.
Topic: RE: Trapped by Choclate

Topic: RE: Trapped by Choclate
Today I struggle with old habits, the monster that keeps haunting me and clawing its way back into my life. I will never be able to run away from this monster. As I live and breath this monster will always be at my back. Today it is chocolate and it has a hold on me and refuses to loosen its grasp. I know where I came from and don't ever want to return to the past. What is the reason for keeping me imprisoned to the past, why cant it just go away? I have struggled hard to win but as I step forward the past drags me two steps back.
Topic: RE: How to stop the shakes
I get the shakes pretty bad and now I can tell when I am about to get them. Sometimes they come on faster then I can get something to stop them. I have been carring glucloss tablets to help which work really fast. I have found that it is when I have rushed thru the day and haven't eaten something that I needed, usually a carb because of the work that I do uses a lot of muscle. Message me if you want and we can talk more about it.
