Cold, cold Thursday WLX - Blankets in the overhead bins!

It is windy enough that a bald man will have a bad hair day today!     Hope y'all got your new long handles in!  I know I'll have mine on and the space heater will be on in the office!   Speaking of my office I got "fired" yesterday, for one day.  Since I'm the first one in the building in the morning I make a pot of coffee.  Yesterday I was trying to make coffee and text with another officer at the same time.  I put a filter in, put the basket back in the Bunn, filled it with water, closed the lid and let it go.  Came in two hours later to be informed that I forgot the coffee!  Ooops.  Promised them I'd do better today.   Bundle up before your go forth today.

Up early to head into office, hope I am not sliding home this evening.  Got part of my order yesterday but was not the longjohns.   Not looking forward to getting out in the cold weather.   

Have plans with sisters and cousin to go to Sulphur Springs this weekend but might have to cancel if roads are bad.

Brrr....it's COLD !!!   I haven't even been out of my house yet.   What CRAZY weather we are having.   Hopefully the 80* we had yesterday will keep some of the ice they are predicting off the streets.   I have a son taking a test to maybe get into Law School on saturday AM and then saturday is my middle son's 28th birthday.   I would really like to spend sometime with him on his birthday and he not having to be in his apartment by himself on his birthday...that would be NO fun at all.    Not sure if I'm going to get to make it to Azle tonight to Teen Challenge either.    I hate driving on ice especially if it is a choice and not something I have to do.   I guess I will have to decide later on when I hear a updated forcaste.    Hope everyone stays warm and drives carefully if you have to be out on the ice ( if it happens ).

I will be pulling those blankets out tonight!  I haven't posted in several days, but I'm here...work is busy & I usually only get on OH at work.  So, that being said I haven't had time.  But today seems to be a little quiet around here.  HD has been in NM on business all week, but catching an earlier flight today.  Doesn't want to get stuck at the airport tomorrow!!!  Hope everyone stays safe and warm in the coming days... thinking Chili sounds pretty good for dinner tonight...
