Monday WLS Express - All Aboard

Monday got here to darn quickly.

Did nothing exciting this weekend. DH and SIL have been working on the garage the past two weekends getting ready for a garage sale. I helped a little but he has so much stuff I just get overwhelmed.

Work is the highlight of my day.

Unpacking, laundry, paying bills, picking up the dog from my Mom's are the highlights for today.  Worse part about being gone a week is coming home.  Dreading going back to work tomorrow.

How was the cruise?

I don't know if it was the "European" feel of the ship because of being made in Italy, the language issues with some of the crew, rainy weather or just simply the advanced age of the vast majority of our fellow passengers but I was not overly impressed.  Had a  maître d' that seated another couple in front of us after we had been waiting twenty minutes.  He got back over to us I went up his @$$ side ways in golf spikes.  Straight to a table with two glasses of white wine and his boss trying to appease us.  The coffee bar was nothing like a Starbucks or even a close facsimile of one.  Food in general was not the best I've ever had.  Grill by the midships pool made a really good hamburger patty with fries and Jan could get a cheese pizza.  Props to the omelet cook and our primary cabin steward.  Other highlights included three of the four excursions.  Hard to see anything from the double decker bus if the sun has gone down already.  Zip lining was the TOPS!!  Hoping the kid from MN who took pictures of me zipping follows through on his promise to email them to me.  Could not get to the glaciers for the ice in the fiord.  However I did make money in the casino!

HI TMB and welcome home Don. Saundra I need to clean my garage too and get ready for a garage sale !!!    I went today to Cabellas for the first time.   That place is totally awesome !!!   I took some IPhone pics and sent to my son and DIL and told them that they had to take Tigerlily there if for no other reason to see the "stuffed animals" and fish in the Aquarium.    Not to mention the lake and water fall.    I was amazed.    Nothing else going on right now.    Sorry you had some issues on the cruise Don....glad you won some money in the casino.
