anyone know of any surgeons that take amerigroup in dfw tx

I am struggling to find a surgeon

Sorry, I know nothing about Amerigroup but do they provide a website where you search for a list of providers? Or call them and ask them for a list.

My niece had the sleeve done about 2 months ago in San Antonio ( lives here in the DFW area ).   I believe she has Amerigroup ( medicaide right:? ).   Anyway he was one of the ONLY surgeon's that still accepts medicaide ( Joseph Wright ).    Here is the link to info on him.   I have gone to San Antonio with her....he seems like a wonderful surgeon and she's doing very well with her surgery.  She had started with a surgeon in Tyler but as of the first of the year he no longer accepted Amerigroup. Good luck to you and I wish you well.       http://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-joseph-wright-x5wgx

I wish I could travel that far but I have 5 kids and no fam to help so I have to be in dfw but thanks so much for your help

Colleen Kennedy in Plano takes medicare/medicaid I think.  I know several folks who have had surgery with her and have been really pleased with her.

I think  dr babineau in tyler takes  Medicaid 903-533-0230 he takes medicare and is really good and easy to see , Good Luck
