Monday WLX - All Aboard!!

Today is the oldest granddaughter's first day of Kindergarten. 

Back to work for the teachers, librarians, bus drivers, custodians, school resource officers etc.  Our SRO trying to improve traffic flow around local campus and wants our help directing traffic.

Had an email from the DPS lab regarding a "hit" in the CODIS system related to the "case from hell".  Will find out today who it is.  Hoping it is somebody who has not come up on the radar yet but either way it means somebody's keester is going to jail.  Hopefully this person will tell us some things we don't know.

Going to be hot again this week so keep the beverage of choice handy!

Good morning. I am headed to the dr. For my 3rd and last HEP B vaccine this morning, then to eye dr. For a quick contact lens check. Mi can't see well out of this Rx. After that is work, then to Orthopedic surgeon for a look atmy foot that keeps hurting. Work again after that.

Good luck to all teachers and students today on the first day of school. My boy left here with his lunch and backpack at 6:00 am. Hope his first day in e classroom as a real teacher goes well. He loves coaching and teaching is a necessary evil that goes along with it!

Good Morning

Had a busy weekend and have another one coming up. Taking off Friday and Tuesday and heading to TN for Labor Day weekend. Going to my aunts and cousin annual ice cream social. Homemade ice cream with all the toppings. This will be my first time going and will need to be careful as ice cream after surgery causes major cramping for me.

Today agenda is work, need to cram 5 days of work into 4 so will be a busy week.

Handyman is finished in the kitchen till I decide on countertops. Loving the laundry room pocket door.

Scales up a tad this morning, I am sure the salty snack I had last night didn't help.

Morning TMB Family,

I know that there are lots of moms out there thrilled that school started again.   LOL  I had issues with OH this AM.   I tried for 3 hours to get on...everytime I did the page would freeze up.   I have a MacBook Pro...I could get on other sites just not OH....not sure if it was a OH issue or not.   Oh well...I got on eventually so that's all that matters.     I'm getting back on track today and I plan on staying on track.   I've already gotten up and walked on treadmill this AM.   I too am having issues with my eyes Karla.    I'm going for my quarterly check up sometimes in Sept.   This is the first time I have been excited about going.   I know I have cataracs and not sure if they are advancing or what but my vision is the pitts lately.   Then to top it all off....I have "floaters with rings attached" for the past 3 days.   UGH that makes my vision even worse...thank God it is only in one eye.    I need to get off here and get me a protein shake.     Have a great day everyone and drink LOTS of water...going to be a really hot week !!!!
