Tuesday WLX - Cooktop addition

Jan happy, happy, happy, with new cook top finally getting here yesterday!  So happy in fact that she began pulling the wall paper off the kitchen walls!

Weather folks saying it will be tad cooler and chance of rain.  Keep your fingers crossed.

Managed to get some treadmill time in yesterday waiting on the cook top to arrive.  Got off work early yesterday to wait on them but have to make up for it today by staying late.  Part of it. 

Go do your thing.

Good morning. So glad your cooktop is in. Now you'll get some fancy meals, maybe! Off to work after running to the high school to pay for my season football tickets. Tonight I will head to my nieces 20 th birthday dinner.

Handyman got pocket door installed yesterday and he plans to install new ceiling fan and paint today.

Went to HD last night and looked at cheap countertops and tile for backsplash. Rethinking the backsplash may just do countertops. Decisions, decisions ....

Work wore me out yesterday, hoping today is better.

Picked up backsplash stuff Saturday.  Waiting on hearing from tile setter.  Get it in and I'm calling "Full Stop" till we get back from Alaska.

Congrats on the cooktop Don.   I know Jan is thrilled.  I totally remodeled my kitchen 2 yrs. ago and I still love it !!!  I have a Teen Challenge graduation tonight to attend.   I am thrilled for the 2 men who are graduating.    Not much on the agenda.   I've been doing laundry this morning.   Not alot so far on my agenda for today.    Have a great day and try to stay hydrated everyone.

Busy day today.  Work till 5 --  Support Group at 6:30 in  Denton and then will be going out with friends to Red Lobster ( Endless Shrimp) !!!  Dr. Ayoola will be at the meeting tonight to discuss plans of him taking over for Dr. Stewart.  Hopefully, there won't be any major changes in office / staff .  Dr. Stewart's people are all so great.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day.  Cooler days are coming!!!

How did go with Dr. Ayoola and the meeting? What do you think of him? I've never met him. I still cannot wrap my mind around the fact that Dr. Stewart is gone!! Still just blows my mind and makes me so so sad. He was a TREMENDOUS surgeon, and from everything I know and heard, a tremendous man, as well. He will be missed by so many. 

I hope you got my invitation to add you to my WLS Friends closed group that I created. I was having a difficult time remembering which one of my FB friends were WLS friends, so I did that. I made it a closed group so that only those of us that have had WLS, can be in the group and/or see any WL info/posts. I still have not told very many people AT ALL and don't put anything about surgery on my personal FB page. I'll tell everyone when and if I decide to. Some people can just be plain rude about it and I don't want or need that...therefore.....the group.

I hope you are doing well. I'd still love to see you when I come back to the Dallas area. I wimped out of a dinner and the chance to meet Vivian a few weeks ago when we were in Ft. Worth for my husband's annual Coaching Convention. I HATE that I missed that chance, due to a stupid headache and fatigue. Poop!! Maybe we can all get together sometime in the near future. You two, were the first two OH WLS people to support and encourage me and you will never know how much that means to me and how much y'all helped me. Thanks, Brenda!!!
