Hopefully it won't be all that bad around here today but you never know!  Oh the joys of home ownership.  Granted at twenty years old - a little upgrading ain't going to hurt.

Jan says get off the computer and get to removing the phone, TV and cook top from kitchen.  Step one - TURN OFF THE BREAKERS!!

Don, hope I will be posting a closed sign soon in my kitchen. I told DH last night since we are replacing the laundry room door with a pocket door and it shares a wall with kitchen that will have to be tore out, replaced and painted we should repaint the whole kitchen and go ahead and have a backsplash installed and of course then I would need new countertops to go with backsplash. Will see if my plan works.

Work is on my agenda since I did not hit the jackpot in Shreveport this past weekend.

Scales not making me happy at all this morning, I am two lbs away from being over goal and that is to close for comfort. I will be logging my food and plan to get my butt in the pool and do some type exercise.

This is just the beginning of what all Jan wants to do!  New counter tops and backslashes do not go with the little hearts or flowers in the old wallpaper!  Will have to scrape up a few bucks to pay for some texture and paint.  Wants the wood paneling out in the den and eventually move some walls and plumbing to create an ensuite bathroom and a larger walk in closet from part of the storeroom from the garage.  Chea-ching!  Guess I'll be going to the blood bank for some extra cash!
