Thursday WLX - All Aboard!!

Quiet around here last night with Jan in Conroe. 

Work at top of the docket for today.  Managed to get on treadmill yesterday when I got home.  Have a powwow with one of the assistant DA's this morning.  Have to take their hand and explain that if a person forcibly takes money from another person that is called "robbery".  At least it is air conditioned in their office.

Go Forth and keep the water bottle handy!

 

Good Morning Don and TMB Family,

Not much going on right now at my house.   I have to take 3 boxes of books to my oldest son's house in a little bit.   I am still re-doing my guest room.    It was 2 of my son's bedroom at one time and these are books he left there.   He was over yesterday and said he wanted them but didn't bother taking them with him.    I wish that they didn't depend on me to do everything.   LOL  Oh well...I am making major headway on the room.    I ordered new 2" blinds for both my front bedrooms.    The mini blinds died due to extreme heat on the front of my house.    I am soon going to get someone out to measure and make solar screens for my house.   I have been told that those will really cut the heat out and lower my electric bills.    We will see about the lower bills but it will be worth it to keep heat out of those rooms.    The blinds are suppose to be delivered to my house on tuesday.   My niece had VSG 2 days ago and is doing really good.   She is suppose to be released from the hospital today.    5 hour drive home so I hope she makes it without any issues.    Have a great day everyone.

Good morning

Woke up around 3:30 and had a heard time going back to sleep and of course when I finally do the alarm goes off.

DH is taking one of the dogs to the Vet today, he has a large knot on his ear that I hope just needs draining.

Today's agenda is a repeat of yesterday, work work work.....

Digits on the scale down a little this morning.

I'd say, "Good Morning" but it's 5:26 in the afternoon, so "Good Evening, Y'all"!!!

My husband and I just got home about 2 hours ago from a WONDERFULLY relaxing few days in Ruidoso. I DID NOT want to come back, but...so is life. I'm just thankful for the days we had and that we got to go on a vacation. That is a luxury these days for so many. Thankful for all I've been given.

Hope y'all had a good day at work, Saundra and Don, and Vivian, hope you got all your kids' junk to them. KIDS?!?! What in the world are we thinkin' by doing all we do for them?!?! I'm expecting my oldest daughter and Miss Alivia (3 yr old Gbaby) in at anytime, so I better get off here. Liv will be wanting "Nonny's 'puter".

Love Love Ruidoso.  We drove through there by mistake one winter.  We take a 2 week road trip every Christmas and I fell asleep my husband took the wrong road.   Was told they call this the Rich Texas play ground.  So PRETTY!

That's a great place to end up in when you're lost, for sure. My husband and I love Ruidoso, too. We would LOVE to retire there, but I'm not sure that'll ever happen. I can hope, though :)
