I did it!
Lee, I'm not on here very often, but am always glad to see new Texas faces. Welcome!! Lee, these Texas folks have been wonderful wonderful wonderful to me. I can't tell you how much they've helped over the past 6 months. They're a great group. I spend more of my time, now, on a couple of Sleever FB sites, as well as feel like I'm constantly logging my food and exercise on another site, MFP.
I had my VSG on 4-3-13, so I'm just a little over 4 months out. I'm sending you a friend request and would love to give you a couple of FaceBook support groups for Sleevers, if you're interested. I also am finding that daily logging every single bite and drink on My Fitness Pal, is really really important - for me, at least.
I saw that you live in Plano. I have grown kids and two grand babies that live there. I love the time I get to spend with them when I travel to the Dallas area. (I live in Lubbock). Again, welcome to this incredible adventure. You're gonna do great.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I am 5 weeks out from my surgery and I feel fantastic. I am so glad I did this and don't regret my choice for a minute!
I also use MyFitnessPal. It has been really helpful in keeping me honest and staying on track.
Thanks for adding me as a friend and I will attend to that request when I am back home at my computer--we are on the road back from San Antonio!
