Hump Day WLX - All Aboard!!

Other than work and maybe catching some treadmill time when I get in not much going on from here.  Find out today when HD is bringing the rest of appliances after canceling last Saturday.  Countertops are coming next weekend, I think.  Heat is turning my mind to mush.

Good morning, Don. I bet y'all will be glad when you get all of your kitchen stuff in. Tomorrow I have a truckload of fencing supplies coming in from Liwes. Yesterday I got my OZ Posts to pound into the ground to put my 4x4 posts in for my privacy fence. Now I have to rent a jackhammer Friday morning to get them in the ground.

Patients today and tomorrow at work and it should be busy both days.

We have a wedding rehearsal Friday evening and a wedding Saturday evening, so we will be busy tis week and weekend.

I haven't been able to post much because when I try it says "bad gateway". Glad it was ok today.

Good Morning, 

  I keep getting the bad gateway message as well. Using full version instead of mobile app to post this morning.
  Up till past 2 this morning texting with SIL about drama in her life and then woke up at 7.    DH played in a free poker tournament last night and won a vacation voucher and 100 bucks.  Reading the fine print you have to pay taxes and fees, bottom line if we use it, it will cost us 350.00 for airfare and two night hotel in Vegas.  And of course blackout dates and good only Sun- Tuesdays so options are limited.  May not use it but will help in spend the cnote.   Work is all that I have on my agenda and no early meetings so plan to try to go back to sleep before I start my day.   Have a great day!

Saundra...depending on what time of year you go to Vegas and what hotel....I've gotten packages a lot cheaper than $350.   Don hope you get your appliances real soon.   Karla you amaze me with all that you do.    Thank God stress in my life has gotten a little bit better.    Hopefully soon everything will totally settle down.   My husband's work may still go on strike.   They did union negotiations yesterday but no one has heard anything yet.    I personally think it is stupid not to tell what went on.   UGH   Have a great day everyone.   Going to be hot hot hot today.

The 350.00 is for two people (175.00 each), I did do some searching on the internet and have not found any that cheap however I can spend a couple of hundred bucks more and not be limited to there dates and hotels.   These promo vacation packages to me are really a hassle and not really worth the few bucks you save.  It can also be used for cruise out of Miami or Hotel in Cancun but of course you have to pay taxes and fees and I know dang well the cost is mostly FEES so they make money.  

 

Hope the negotiations with the union works out.

 

 

Sorry Saundra....I thought that was each.  I must have read it wrong.   I'm bad !!!  LOL    Also most of the hotels in Vegas charge you a resort fee.   To me that should be included in the cost.    Guess they have to get to you some way.   LOL
