Surgery at Baylor Plano
Hi everybody,
I don't post at this board often but I was wondering if any of y'all had had your surgery done at Baylor Plano. My surgery date is coming up quick and I'm super excited but just wondering about the facility and all that. I've never had any sort of surgery before so this is all totally new to me! I'm on day 4 of my pre-op diet and I think I'm rocking it...it really has not been too terrible!
Any info, advice, support, anything you can offer would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Lee

Hi Lee,
Sorry I can't help you with the hospital information....if it's Baylor I'm sure it is fine though. Welcome to the TMB ( Texas Message Board ). You're having a awesome surgery. Glad your doing well on your liquid diet. Congrats on your upcoming date.

I know nothing about Baylor Plano either but I am sure it will fine.
I too want to welcome you to TMB and sounds like you are doing awesome. Best advice I have is to following your doctors plan. This board is not very active but there is a few of us that post regular so feel free to post any questions or post on are WLS express thread.
Have a great day!

Thanks! If the nurses and other staff are as nice as the people who did my upper GI were then I am pretty sure I'll be in good hands. My doctor is pretty awesome and I trust that he'll take good care of me.

I have a friend that was at Baylor Plano about a month ago for the DS. I know her husband was able to stay with her in the room 24 hrs a day. Think the only problem she had was the fact the nurses didn't start her on ice chips/liquids on time. Think she had to mention it to Dr. Stewart to address the nurses.

Good, I think my husband would probably like to do that too. We don't sleep apart from each other very well!
