Wednesday WLX - All Aboard!!

Too bad the clerks at Home Depot don't work on commission!  We had one that worked some magic to save us a few bucks but when I went to write the two checks Tele-chek let the first one through but denied the second. Being after 6:00 PM did not help either so no calling the bank.  Get it squared away today. 

Saundra:  It stinks that your teammate was let go.

Vivian:  Hang in there - it'll all work out.

Good morning. It's a work day full of patients for me today. I'll be ready to come home and crash this evening.

Don, hope you get to buy the rest if your Home Depot things today.

Viv...maybe they won't strike. That is the downside to unions. I have always worked to make sure we always had 2 incomes. I enjoy working and it keeps me busy.

Thanks for the encouraging word.   Hopefully Bell Helicopter won't strike.   $200 a week ( strike pay ) IS better than nothing but it won't pay many bills.     All the stresses that have been in my life for years is finally taking a toll on me.    I wish that I could block the crap from bothering me but for some reason it i just can't.    MY BP has been up and down for more than 6 months now and if it doesn't stop I'm going to have to get meds for it.   I never had high BP when I was close to 300 lbs. can't believe that it is high now.   I know it is stress related.   I wish I was a person who could not let things bother me but I'm not.   Please keep me in your prayers that things will calm down.   I truly don't want to have a stroke due to stress.   UGH   Don...hope they kept your things pulled to the side so you could come and get them this AM when the banks are open.    I'm still trying to get my house finished painting and that is driving me nuts.   NEVER hire one of your kids to do something for you and pay them.  UGH I may have to pay someone else to finish.   I don't feel comfortable getting on a high ladder at my age or crawling on my roof doing touch ups that NEED to be done.   Oh well....it is only stuff like this adding to my stress.    It could be worse.   My house could NOT be painted at all.   LOL   Have a great day.

VIVIAN--please tell me you are seriously considering getting on top your roof, in 100 degree Tx heat..with possibly high blood pressure..history of back injury..to finish painting a house you $$$$$ physically capable young men to do (I didn't know you were paying your own children...sitting on my fingers here)....Just because you are TINY and GRACEFUL , is like those chicks, at Wal-Mart in those tank tops:

The strike will happen if it NEEDS to..that's how the system works..Find some POSITIVE in this, my POSITIVE friend--at least one of those laid off workers will be MORE than happy to make some $$$, to help feed his babies, by coming and finishing the painting your house-and bet it will be done in record time-at least ONE less stressor for you !!!

Handyman installed a motion sensor light over the garage and will be here today to seal the deck. Think DH is going to keep him busy a while.

Was still a little emotional yesterday about work and worried about not having her around for direction but I know other teammates will provide me support.

Work is all I have on my agenda. Going to add house cleaning to DH agenda
