Tuesday WLX - All Aboard!!

Another day of fighting crime by fighting grime on tap for today then it is Home Depot for the new appliances and counter tops.  Jan not wasting any time on putting all the HD wedding gift cards to good use.  Guess she is so excited about it she went off and left her cell phone at home!

Good Morning

Monday did not start out good at all. They laid off several people at work yesterday and one was my teammate who I worked with very closely for 10 plus years and is a good friend. I am still in shock as well as surprised and confused why her and not me as she clearly had more knowledge and experience than me. We normally see these layoffs coming but this go around came out of the blue. My work load will probably triple now and very concerned I will not be able to handle it. I am going to be so lost without her in my work life. She lives in MD so will have to keep in touch via email and phone calls. Hope I can keep the stress eating under control.

Viv, hope your DH job doesn't end up on strike, I know that has to be stressful

Surviving the work day is my goal for the day.

Have about 1.5 hours before I have to start working so hoping to go back to sleep since I kept waking up last night.

Good morning. I had to goth Conroe for 2 dr. Appts. Yesterday that we're early morning, so I had to leave about 6. First ne they scheduled at the wrong office and I didn't get to make it. I assume if you call the Conrie office, they schedule me there. They scheduled The Woodlands and didn't tell me that. They also put my phone number in incorrectly, so said they couldn't reach me to confirm. If they would have, they might have said where it was. They lost my business, so I scheduled with a podiatrist that comes to Livingstonout of Kingwood.

Today is a work day. I will be busy since I missed yesterday. Wed. and Thurs are patient days, en Friday I am headed off to a weekend of rest and relaxation.

Good Morning Everyone,

Yesterday was a very bad day for me....not eating wise so much but emotional.    I HATE not knowing what is going on.   Lately I've been a extremely emotional mess.    My husband's job ( Bell Helicopter ) will probably go on strike but they are NOT telling the employees anything yet.    I pay ALL the bills and this crap is really taking a toll on my emotions along with stress that my middle son is putting on me.   It is truly almost more than I can handle.    PLEASE keep me in your prayers.   I am a VERY STRONG PERSON but this is truly too much coming at me at one time.   UGH I hate it when things like thing happens.  Right now I feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders.   Ugh...hate this !!!  I will be OK though.   I'm praying more than ever lately.   Saundra.....you have no idea how had the not knowing is....but it does look like a strike will happen.     Last time ( 4 yrs ago ) they went on strike for 6 weeks and when you have 1 income....that just doesn't cut it.   UGH  I know it will be OK though....I am a very frugil person.    It's just when you have a college student and you pay HIS expenses along with ours it's a little overwhelming !!! Oh well....that's life huh.   LOL   Have a great day everyone and drive safe on those wet roads if you live where it's raining.

Well, life is crazy for me.  Still have my niece, sister and nephew at my house.  Victoria is doing really well at almost a week out from DS surgery.  My SIL has been sent to Cleveland, OH to see a specialist for Renal cancer.  She was beat cancer twice and now after 4 yrs it is back.  She only has 1 kidney and might possibly lose it.  Please keep her & my brother in your prayers.  And my dad had a procedure done this morning to try & stretch his throat.  Way to much to worry about!  Work is normal, nothing new there.    Viv, hope everything in you life will settle down some and your stress will less.  Don congrat's and the picture you posted yesterday was great!
