Memorial Day Weekend WLS Express - All Aboard!!

If I'm ever attacked by a "cardboard" person it's going to have problems but dogs are safe!  Tried to tranquilize one yesterday and missed twice.

Work today, off 2/3's of the weekend and work Monday.  Dance lesson went well last night.  My quadriceps are letting me know about it.

Remember Memorial Day while you're with friends and family enjoying the three day weekend.

Be careful this weekend!

Good morning. Moff the next three days. Today's house cleaning, laundry, grocery run and massage this afternoon.

Hubby may catch a ride home so he can take his new truck back to Midland. When we bought it, he had his work truck here and had to drive it back to work.

Have a good weekend!

Karla

Good Morning

Ready to get work day over with. I am picking up my sisters grandkids today from after school. She left last night to go to Memphis for the weekend. I think one plans to go swimming when he gets here.

Backyard looks bigger without all the junk around. Handyman should get the deck finished today.

Birthday party tomorrow here at the house and Church picnic on Sunday, need to make sure I have plenty of sunscreen.

Have a great weekend!

Good Friday AM TMB Family,

My hubby has to work tomorrow and sunday but is off on monday.    I have a support breakfast tomorrow AM and a graduation party for my nephew tomorrow afternoon.   So I also have a busy weekend coming up.    Not much going on in my life other than that.   My middle son has decided he needs to find a better job.   The restaurant he is working at is too slow and I don't think he's going to be able to make his rent this month without our help.   UGH he needs to get a hourly wage job IMHO.   Have a great weekend everyone and be careful.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Happy Saturday, Family !!

Tough week in Gina-land, health wise. This left chest wall thing, the Costochrondritis, just doesn't want to take a hike. My PCP injected cortisone straight into the sucker, on Wednesday-that used to ALWAYS work...but not this time..Crap.."time will heal"...Crap...I even had to give up and come home, from work, yesterday, and I never do that...I pretty much stayed in bed the past 20 hrs...I'm THINKING it's better this am..mind over matter..Crap...Crap..Crap..lol...

No set plans for the holiday weekend, other than putting flags out at the cemetary..just something I like to do, for the vet families, of my friends, who no longer live locally, and can't do it themselves.

Hi All,

I am new to the list.  I was sleeved on 5/14.  My memorial day weekend will be filled with pureed foods.  Yeah!   I never thought I would be so excited about such food!  :-)

Have been using my time off from work looking on the computer for high protein recipes.  If you have any good ones please forward.

Memorial Day is always special to me.  I come from a long family history of military members.  I served in the Nurse Corps for 8

years.  My husband is retired military.   We live outside of san antonio.

Howdy Diane and Welcome to TMB!

Weekends are slow here but wanted to make you feel welcome nonetheless.  Finance' has strong ties to San Antonio, military and nursing as well.  You'll be back at Alamo Cafe, if you like their food, again before too long.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

DIANE...Welcome to our family !!!

I'm not much of a cook..actually, truth be told, I DON'T cook..lol..but, tell me what you like and I'll find stuff, cuz I DO know lots of post ops who are GREAT cooks...Do you crock pot much? That much I CAN do, and I do LOTS of protein, in a couple of easy steps that way. You won't be on pureed for very long (seems like forever, I know!), but then a little meat will last you a LONG time!

I look forward to getting to know you!

Hi Gina!   Well.........I like everything!!  Hence the WLS.  :-)   LOL

I would love some crockpot recipes, as I work.   I am also looking for a good veggie burger recipe.  But, really, I would appreciate

any of your favorites that are really good and high in protein.

Diane
