Off today to go to my five year follow up.  Not seeing what I wanted to see on my scales but I'll be within five pounds of my first surgiversary.

Where is everyone today?  Well, congrat's to you Don on 5 yrs.  I'm coming up on 3 1/2 yrs next month.  It is , has been such a life changer for me.. and I know it has been for ever one who has had WLS.  Not a lot going on in my world today.  Work is slow.  Phone isn't ringing---need it to ring!  DH said we might go out for dinner tonight.  Plan to continue looking through Mom's photo albums.  Still have several more left.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Thanks Brenda.  I wonder where every body has been lately.  About to the point where the Express could be a hand cart.  Swear up and down there are tumbleweeds blowing through here.  Especially on the weekends!

Good Morning ALTHOUGH it is NOT good IMHO,

Congrats on 5 yr. Surgiversary Don.   Sorry I was MIA yesterday.    I went to San Antonio with my sister and niece ( niece having VSG there in July or August ) she had Dr. appointments.    I am SO saddened by the explosion in West.   We passed by it last night and could see all the firetrucks ( everywhere ), police, and ambulances.    We knew something major had happened just not to what extent.    You could smell a strange odor even though the windows were up in the car.    Yesterday was BAD also in my family.    My middle son was called by a old friend of his telling him that one of their friends had overdosed and died.    We STILL have not gotten that confirmed.   I can find NOTHING on the internet saying this young man is dead.    The person who called my son is a addict and I talked to him yesterday and he acted like he had not called my son and told him this.    I am in shock.    Anyway I would apprecaite any prayers coming my direction as I try to help my son deal with whatever comes our way today.   I've about had more than I can take.    Try to have a good day everyone.
