PCP in Grapevine, mid-cities area or Dallas

Hi!

I'm considering having a DS procedure and I'm wondering if anyone here has a PCP they currently use that understands (somewhat at least!) DS malabsorption

I'm seeking a regular doctor that can truly be an asset to me since I'll have a future full of labs and results

I haven't heard of any yet who are up to speed on DS, so I am attempting to educate my family PCP (whom I absolutely love). He and I will learn it together!

Hi FoxieRoxie,

I know hamilbr had DS and she lives in Lewisville which is kinda in the area you mentioned. You might message Brenda and ask her if HER PCP understands DS. I live in NRH and I have never heard my PCP mention DS so I doubt that he knows anything about that surgery. Good luck in your journey.
