Easter Weekend WLS Express

Good morning. We have a busy day ahead of us. Have to hit the car dealership to look at a new truck for hubby. If the price is right, he can get one. Boy, have prices gone up since we bought his last one 7 years ago. I had sticker shock! Off to my sisters for family and friend time for our annual crawfish boil and Easter egg huntby noon or so. Looking forward to seeing the ones I don't see often enough.

How exciting on the new truck!! My car is 6 years old but I am hoping it lasts another 4. Have fun with family and friends. Today we will be taking it easy and getting stuff done around the house. Our whole family is coming over tomorrow for brunch and our Easter egg hunt. We also smash confetti eggs- messy, but the kids love them. Good times!! 

47 days of school left. Then only 6 more years to retirement. I think I can make it!!

Happy Easter, my TMB family! This is my favorite Easter pic of Madi, thus far..kinda mean..but still my fave..We had the friends at the table (one of those semi-circle kinds where the little seats are built in), having a party. Everyone had their cookie/noise maker/etc..too little to figure out to blow them..I was 2 chairs down..I blew the little party horn..Madi nearly had a stroke..Co-worker caught it on camera..You KNOW GiGi had to be mean and do it a couple more times..poor Madi..she's such a tough little snot..it's nice to find something she'll crawl into your arms and seek comfort for...All she had to do was SEE the horn and she'd run up under my armpit..the other friends just kept eating..never missed a mumble or a drool..

Went to early service, so am home, chilling now..going to Madi's house at 2 for lunch/egg hunt, etc..taking my 6 yr old nephew, Brayden, as my lazy niece did nothing for him for Easter..I bought prefilled eggs, that are SEALED, so I can't get into the candy..somebody was a genuis...
