Facebook and/or Support Groups in Lubbock??

I am currently part of LADS - Lubbock Area DSers. Is there one specifically for VSG in the Lubbock area that anyone knows about?

Susie...I will ask my friend who have had VSG and get back to you on that.   I do know that there are several online groups for VSG...not sure about Facebook but if there is.....I'm sure they will know about it.   I'll get back to you with info on that.

Here is one that I found on Facebook.  Not sure how wonderful it is but here is the link to it and I also found a closed group.   You could ask to join it.   I will send the link to it also.   I have asked my surgeon's facebook support group patients who are VSG patients if they can recommend any too.   I will let you know if anyone recommends any.   You can also go to the VSG forum here ( I think you do this already though ).   Here is some links on facebook.......https://www.facebook.com/groups/192849964060885/?fref=ts

I was also told to tell you to go to Gastricsleeve.com ( I was told there is a Texas group there ).   

If you need any more info....let me know and I will see what I can do to get it for you.   I did not find a group that physically met in Lubbock but I am about to go to the OH Support Groups and see if there is a physical OH support group there.   I will let you know in a minute if I know of anything.    OK....I didn't find any OH groups in your area.   I'm sorry.  You could call some of the local hospitals or bariatric surgeon's offices in your area and ask if they have any open support groups for your area.    Those are my suggestions to you my friend.   You always have ME !!!  I will give you lots of support and encouragement and I will find out things from my Local VSG friends if you need answers to questions.    I can't wait to meet you.
