Monday Zephyr - All Aboard!!

Ain't that the truth!!  The three ladies in my office love me.  They walk into a fresh pot of coffee.  It's making while my car is warming up and I'm getting together what I need to take with me.

Oh, we have BLUEBONNETS!!  Threw the seeds out last Spring but nothing sprouted till this year.  Put marker flags near the clumps of plants so I don't mow them down.  That was easiest of all the yard work I did this weekend.  Who's got the Tylenol?

Work is on the agenda today.  Enjoy the nice weather - while it last.

Had an unusually "good" weekend..I actually put clothes and make up on BOTH days...that is huge for me, as I have had a bad habit of isolating and hibernating at least one of the weekend days..not doing anything "productive" indoors, mind you..jus****ching silly TV and starting 47 projects to add to the 47 projects, from the week before that weren't finished...Yesterday TRACEY and I went to Ft Worth Food Park (sounds like Nirvana-huh? The name was a bit misleading), and met LORALEA, who had all 5 of her kids-even Katelyn, who was home from from college. It was 6 food trucks, and a bunch of picnic tables. This one one was a block behind 7th Street. Very clean, and good people watching place-AND--drum roll--I stayed on my food plan!! Now..if I could just get my "exercise self" together..I DID put Madi in her stroller, Friday afternoon, and take her around my neighborhood..not exactly a half-marathon, but it's a whole lot more than I've BEEN doing!!

Nothing unusual "planned" for the upcoming week..but..you never know..George Clooney COULD stop by, and ask me to run away with him, so I shave my legs..just in case...

Had a good weekend and as usual hate to see it end

I actually put makeup up both days myself.
Did not go see Dad yesterday but did get a few things done around the house.
Agenda today is work and doing 15 minute segment from workout DVD or taking dogs for walk.

Good morning. I'm off, but have a big list of to do's for today, so I best get busy. Elliptical first, then town for bank, oil change and Walmart run. After that it is home to mow and then address, using labels, 100 shower invitations.

Weight was good this week. -2.4 lbs since last Monday, for a total of -19 since December. Got to keep on at it. It's coming off slowly, but surely. Doesn't make sense because I picked at some molasses cookies for several days.

Good Morning TMB Family,

Sounds like everyone had a good weekend.   I got to spend over 6.5 hours with Tigerlily over the weekend.    We had fun.   I had hit a garage sale on saturday morning and bought her a really cute Fisher Price kitchen that has a crawl through between oven and fridge.     I did have to go invest in some batteries for it though....but she LOVED it !!!    But my son said Mom....ENOUGH toys for now.   I seem to bring her something everytime I see her.    She is crawling everywhere and SO much fun.    She has the most blood curdling screams though.    My son said she does it ALL the time.   He said the worse is when your driving and she does it. I truly think she does that when she's really happy.     Such a cutie.   Gina...you make my day reading your posts.   Karla.....I'm SO proud of you.    That is a great weight loss.   I need to get my butt back in gear with my weight although everyone says they can't tell I've put anything on...my pants are snug around the middle and I know it is there.     Don....I bet those ladies do love you having coffee ready for them.    I know I'm always ready for a cup as soon as I get up...when the pot is empty...I'm a little disappointed myself  ( hubby usually makes some when he gets home from work in the early AM ).    Saundra....hope you get to go see your dad soon.    I know I really miss mine.   He's been gone for over 23 yrs. now.    Have a blessed day and try to get out and enjoy the weather if you can.   I'm probably going to mow my lawn since I can't seem to get the 3 men who live in my house to do it.    UGH

VIV-when did you lose your dad? This past Feb 23rd was the 23 year mark for us losing our "Pop". He was "by law" our Step-dad, but he came into our lives when I was 10 and "married" us (there were 5 of us kids then, and he had never been married-my youngest sister came later), but he was the FATHER who raised it. My bio-dad, whom we refer to as "Mom's first husband" can't take any credit for the WONDERFUL adults we became...lol..he dropped dead, of a heart attack, at age 50, in 1986. Only sorry he didn't suffer LONGER, like poor Pop did, with his lung cancer..

Aww..Tigerlily..gotta love the "screaming age"..when they discover they have a voice..and how to USE it..you just keep right on buying her stuff..it's your right as her grandma!!!!

Gina it was 23 yrs. since my Dad's death Oct. 15th.   We buried him on Oct. 17th which was my Mom's birthday.   We tried to talk her out of that.   Later she asked us WHY we let her do that.    She wouldn't have it any other time at the time of Dad's death.    Mom's been gone 6 yrs now as of Jan. 23rd.    Hard to believe how quickly time flies.   Don't worry.....I will buy Tigerlily what I want and I know my son knows that.   LOL

good morning everyone.  My weekend was good.  Went up to OKLA for my niece's birthday party.  Got to spend time with Dad, too.  He is feeling & looking so much better.  Not much going on today.  Work is slow for a Monday.  Hoping it will be better this afternoon.  Making meat balls for dinner tonight.  That's all I have going on!  Have a wonder day day everyone!
