Friday WLS Express - ALL ABOARD!!
Yes they do!
Dog and I have the house to ourselves tonight since Jan is going to Conroe after she gets off work. Beauty shop and mother/daughter bonding time at a Jr. League thing at the Woodlands.
Looks like I'll give the yard one last going over for the year and park the mower(s) till next year.
Go forth and enjoy your weekend!!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
I am awake but not up. I am iff todat but have a busy day planned. My PTH level were high so PCP is sending me to an endocrinologist and that appointment is at 10:30. Hoping if they need to do further test they can get it done this year. The doctors office is conveniently located by Walmart so plan to return a tub that was missing half the lid and purchase cleaning supplies to tackle cleaning the oven.
No real plans for the weekend.
Have a great weekend!!!!

My partner and I set up our table like a REAL family table, and we all ate together, even my partner's teenage son, and my Corbin..had a great time...but like I said..."Petered Out Princess"..
For the weekend..busy, busy tomorrow...Book Club in the AM with some very special ladies, whom I haven't seen in way too long ..then going to a craft show my sister is participating in..then have to have my ...ummm..naturally red hair enhanced (have the cracks in my head repaired, as my granny used to say)...get with Tracey to shorten a dress...get my nails done..the list goes on and on..crap..and I'm already tired..Sunday I think I will...sleep..
What is gong on in YOUR world ??? I love keeping up with y'all, and would love to get to know our new family members...

We Can Do Hard Things
Good Morning Don, Saundra, Gina and TMB family,
Yep....it's finally friday. Cute dog picture. In a little while I will be going over to my DIL's apartment to help her pack the apartment up and get ready to move tomorrow. I know that they are SO excited about moving into their first home. I've thought about getting Christmas junk, tree and stuff out but not sure where it is in my garage and not sure where I will put it once I get it out. LOL Tigerlily's stuff may have to go to the garage. LOL I have to help move things to my son's house tomorrow so pray I don't strain my back or anything. I have a tendency to lift things way too heavy for me to move. I know I'm bad. LOL
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

Good morning everyone,
Today is my 3 yr surgery anniversary. Went yesterday to see Dr. Stewart. Most of my 'Labs" are good, but have a couple that are low and a couple that are borderline. So, adding extras to my vitamins each day! Weight is steady with a total lost of 220 lbs. Feeling great! Best thing I have ever done for myself! As for today, Dinner out with a friend this evening. Maybe a little shopping tomorrow and house cleaning. So glad today is Friday, hope everyone has a great weekend.

BRENDA-Happy Surgiversary !!! 220 lbs lost-WOWOWOWOWOW!
If you don't mind me asking, which of your lab levels were borderline? I'm 10 years post RNY, and can't seem to get my Vit D up where it belongs, no matter how much I take, and my B12 stays close to borderline.
Did you come to a group gathering, at Cracker Barrel, shortly before your surgery? I recall meeting a really mice lady, who was about to have a DS, by Dr. Stewart.
Again-a SUPER congrats !!!

Gina--thank you so much for the WOW! I was a heavy weight & started out at 415.
My Vit A was low before surgery and is still low...Right now it is 36, 6 mos ago it was 32. So, for the last 6 mos I have been takin 100000 of A and have up it by another 50000. Hope that will help me get it in the normal range. Now, my K has drop from 123 to 71 in the last 6 mos. not sure why, so now I'm taking K. Borderline on Calcium & my protein. So, I'm upping my Calcium to 2000 iu and trying my best to up my protein.
No, I didn't go to gathering at CB...I didn't even know about this board till I was 3mos post op. lurked on TX board all this time and just recently started posting...But I feel like I know each of you!
