MY GAND DAUGHTER IS HERE !!

I honestly thought I was loosing it this AM. My son sent out a bulk text message at 5:01 AM. I thought it was my alarm going off to get up to bake for the cafe at church...when it was my son saying my DIL was pushing our first grandchild out. She was born at 5:16....15 minutes of pushing. She is BEAUTIFUL but I know you knew I would say that. She weighs 7 lb. 13 oz. and is 20 " long. Her name is Tigerlily Etsuko Prouty ( 1/4 Japanese ). I'm not sure how to put a photo of her on here...so I will put some on my profile. She's very pretty.

VIVIAN-sorry for the delayed response-I've been trying to have a "no computer" day..but I am weak..and finally caved in a few minutes ago--and am so glad I did..MISS LILY IS BEAUTIFUL !!!!!! I can't imagine how thrilled you must be...

What will she call you? When will she come home? How's her mama doing? I looked at her pics, on your profile, and willl check out your FB too--I have a feeling there will be pics THERE too!!

Awe....thank you Gina & thank you for posting her picture. I haven't figured that out how to do that & yes I'm sure I'll take more tomorrow. Leahs doing great. Tigerlily was born in a water tank ( I think that's what they call it). Leah was in labor 3 1/2 hrs. & pushed 13 minutes. Everyone's doing well. They are coming home on Tuesday.
