Monday WLS EXPRESS

Good morning! All Aboard!

It is def a Monday. I couldn't fall asleep last night even with my Lunesta, which has been working for the most part. I've got 4 1/2 hours of sleep and now I have a 4 1/2 hour drive to San Angelo. Thankfully I have a coworker going with me so if I get to be too sleepy, she can drive. I've got my favorite NPR show taped for the last few weeks- its called Wait Wait Don't Tell and its hilarious. Paula Poundstone is on pretty regularly along with other celebraties. I'll be back on Wed. HOPEFULLY I'll sleep later than normal Tuesday and Wed so someone else might have to start the train. We'll see. I'm staying in a different hotel this time so there is no telling how I'll sleep.

Good morning Alissa. I hope you do get some rest on your business trip. I had a hard time falling asleep last night.

Busy day at work today with an ARD meeting early on, then a report to finish writing and a a few folders left to process. Hopefully my 3 days will pass quickly that I work this week.

Happy Monday AM !!!  LOL  I woke up way earlier than I wanted to also.  Hope you sleep well in the hotel Alissa.   I can't function real well if I don't get enough sleep.     I have had a extremely busy 4 days and I am ready for today to start so I can rest some.  LOL   I went to Sean and Rebecca's baby shower over the weekend.   She looks great and so does Sean.    Please keep them in your prayers as Rebecca will go on complete bedrest the first of June.    Lots of fun at the shower.    My trip to SA for the Teen Challenge banquet was great.    Those Teen Challenge guys were AMAZING !!!  Can't wait till May 24th to go to our local TC Banquet in Azle.    If anyone is interested in going let me know and I will send you the link to get your ticket.     Prayers for everyone in need.   Have a great day today.

Worked both Sat and Sun but wasn't the long days I was expecting.  Meeting teammates in lobby @ 7:45 to head to center, going to head down early to grab me something to eat.  I think it will be a long day and food choices at the center is limited.

It is finally "Friday" for me this week!  What was in the water this weekend affecting the "youts" (teenagers) I don't know but I hope it got filtered out!!  Need to call my ex-wife and thank her again for never getting pregnant on me!!

Packing the dog to go stay with Grams for a few days since I'll be on the road again on my days off.  Think I have some "grand pa" duties I am being summoned far.

Good Morning Everyone!!

I didn't have such a good weekend. Men, Men, Men when will they understand us. I did have a few hours of "me" time yesterday, went to the movies & to the park to read. I so need to start looking for a babysitter so me & hubby can have "our time". That will begin today!!  Today I'm totally rearranging our room & taking my bambino out for a while. Of course cooking, cleaning all that good stuff a stay at home mom needs to get done.

Alissa - I feel you on the no sleep. I took an ambien last night & was knocked out. Get some rest at least try. Hope you have a great business trip!!

Vivian - I def. will keep her in my prayers. I remember I was on bedrest starting 2 mths. ughh...My baby was a twin & I lost the other one, so they wanted to be safe & I had other things going on. Esp. being overweight also. Her time will fly by!! Prayers for all!!
