Sunday WLS EXPRESS- hold onto your hats today

It was so windy yesterday but it felt good most of the time. We went to Southlake Town Center last night to walk around and get some exercise. Stopped at the Apple Store for Bryan and Charming Charlies and Bath and Body Works for me.

I'm starting the train very early -2am-thanks to insomnia. I am trying different sleep meds. Trazadone gave me nightmares, Visteryl doesn't work, and today I paid $60- yes $60- for Lunesta. I slept from 9:30-11:15 really well but then I woke up. I was able to lay there and doze on and off but Bryan was tossing and turning and kept waking me so I came out to the living room. Am hoping the recliner and something boring on tv will put me back to sleep.

One more thing- Bryan as you know works so hard at his job and he's always available 24/7 (even on Christmas day a few years ago). And he's been going to some training too. Well he finally got realized by his work and he got a promotion and a raise. I'm very proud of him.

Hope everyone has a great day today!

Cool for Bryan!

I called off to my dispatcher a few minutes ago and I'm fixing to close up the shop and take it to the house! Few hours of shut eye then depending on how bad the weather is have plans for a run to Tyler or if the weather is too inclement then have plenty to do putting house back in order.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Good morning. Headed to church and SS, then Walmart and home to do a few chores. Hope to get some rest in there for a while too!

Had a great time at the reunion yesterday. It did make for a long day.

Alissa, congrats to Bryan. Hope you sleep better soon.

Have a good day to all!

Good Mornings OH Pals,

I agree, the wind was crazy yesterday.  I did some fishing with the family and had a great time. I had the best catch of the day, a beautiful red :)  Came home yesterday afternoon, and the hubby did some grilling for a few pals.  It's been a great Saturday.

Contrats to Bryan & Alissa on the promotion/raise.  Everyone deserves to get recognized for hard work.   Kudos...

Thus far, I feel good about my food this weekend.  However, I've been slacking on the daily exercise.  I plan to do some fun activities today, maybe ride the bike with my 6 year old, Vivian.  Just move around and have fun, if I get it right, it won't even feel like exercise.

Thank you WLS Express for this great daily post.  It helps me more than you know.

Have a great day.

Good morning, family!

WOOHOO for our BRYAN !!!! He deserves-and NEEDS a raise-especially considering all he does-for FREE-for US !

I had a great day yesterday...Brayden and I had bkst with TRACEY and Blake, then Brayden and went to a jump house place..Today my knee is reminding me WHY jump houses are NOT meant for a 54 yr old GiGi to play in...Last night the guys took B with then to the Kennedale races, so the chis and I had the house to ourselves-had us a George Clooney movie marathon..yep..I DO lead a wild life...

Taking it easier today...RICE-ing the knee..then need to get the daggers done...buy some BOGO vitamins at Walgreens..all the usual Sunday afternoon stuff...

((((HUGS)))) all around !!!

 Good Sunday afternoon everyone,

Congrats to Bryan !!!  YEAH  It is always nice to be acknowledged for a good job being done especailly in the form of a raise.    I've been up since early this morning since every sunday morning I am in charge of making a snack for the church's coffee time.     They love it since I've taken this over.... I make "good" healthy snacks....no more DONUTS !!!  LOL    I do occassionally make a coffee cake though.    I almost always have fresh fruit.    Today I did mini quiches and fresh strawberries, clemintines and fresh pineapple cut up.     I ran by Taco Casa on my way home from church for a quick lunch since I have to clean up my mess from my cooking this AM.     Gina....you are a good Aunt.    I can't imagine me jumping in a jump house.   I wouldn't ever jump on the trampoline when we had it with my sons.     I figured all my neighbors would have laughed if I ever did.   LOL   Hope you find something that works for you Alissa to help you sleep.    I've been sleeping WAY too much lately with my allergies bothering me.     Prayers for everyone in need.    Have a great day today.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

I have not yet even gotten out of my jammies yet...and it is 530pm. (And, my thoughts are that at this time - why bother?)
Made breakfast for us and dinner is ready to be slipped into the over. (Homemade chicken pot pie) And that is about all I have done or plan to do!
Back to school work tomorrow......
