SAUNDRA-I know that must have been a real hoot!!! I have 2 friends like that. Sandra, Glenda and I have been friends since all our kids were in elem. school. We were in SS together, and would "combine" whatever meager supplies we had in our pantrys and make a big pot of "hobo soup", every Sunday, after church, and throw all our kids together, out in whosever yard we met at.
Good times! We reconnected this last year (good old Facebook!), and have picked up our friendship like the 10 yr absence never happened..but our meetings are much QUIETER now..and we get to eat indoors!

We Can Do Hard Things
Good morning, KARLA and all!
My bio clock is all upside down, I guess. After coming home sick, on Thursday, and sleeping 16-18 yrs, I got up before 4am yesterday, then couldn't get to sleep last night..err...this morning until 2am...Ever had a slumber party with an "active" 5 yr old, named Brayden??? Now..for a few minutes, anyway, HE is sleeping, and GiGi is enjoying sweet SILENCE...
No iron clad plans today..if it doesn't rain I'd like to take Brayden to the park..it DOES rain, I guess the park will turn into McDonald's playground. He has alot of art supplies, etc here, so we may just hang out, and play it by ear. I've have a lazy day, at home, if he'd LET me..lol..He hasn't spent the weekend in awhile, and it WAS my idea..I just have to keep reminding myself of that sometimes !!
KARLA-have fun at the reunion. I'm old enough now to appreciate them. I HAD to go to a million of them, as a kid, and now, I'm so glad my mom drug us. We look back on all of pics of "reunions past", and us kids are in most of them. It's great memories, of me/my siblings/our cousins/etc/to show OUR kids. We're down to 2 formal reunions a year now-both sides of my mom's family-and someone has always died from one year to the next, so nobody ever wants to miss a chance to see everyone (at somewhere besides a funeral)
Hope everyone has a SUPER Saturday! Stay safe!
LOVE Y'ALL !

We Can Do Hard Things
I have never been to a reunion. We moved before my junior year and I never really made that many friends so I wouldn't want to go to those since I don't care to see anyone. I'd be better off going to the reunion at the high school I used to go to since I was in that area/school district all my life until we moved.
TOMBALL! I know where that is!!! Not to "date" myself but when we moved there many, many moons ago from New Orleans the stop signs were still in use at FM 2920 and then FM 149 now 249. Man has that place GROWN!
Nap. Must have nap. Last night was too late into this morning and I have to do the same thing again tonight.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Dr. follow-up on MOnday.
