longview,tyler area anyone?
SARAH-first off-PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE accept my aplogy-I did not see your post until today (Saturday). It's been a crazy work week, and my computer time, has been limited....
We honestly ARE a very friendly group, here, on the TMB, though I'm not sure any of live in your area-DON is probably the closest. I WILL warn you though---time and miles mean NOTHING to us---we LOVE road trips--and we know there is a Cracker Barrel on most every freeway--great place for meeting "new family members". I used to know the Longview area fairly well, though I haven't been there in awhile, and I'm sure it's grown--but that's what the GPS is for-right???
May I make a suggestion? Please look above, at the board. Each day you will see a daily "Express" thread. It's our "train". It's like walking into the "Cheers" bar-where you hang out/talk about your day/what's on your mind/where everybody "knows your name"/best way to get to know people and have them get to know you...the hardest post is the FIRST one..Ridership is normally less on the weekends, but climb aboard anyway!!
As a quick intro--I'm Gina--you'll see me as "Nurse Diva" sometimes-nickname I got at the first OH conference in 2004. I'll be 10 yrs post RNY next month. I have 2 boys (men?), ages 22 and 20. I'm a 30+yrs nurse, doing Hospice care. I've had had my fair share of "winding roads" in my wt loss journey..am an OH support group leader..have done a few things right..have done a million things wrong..and will help you any way I can..
So happy I FINALLY saw your thread!!!!!
Again-WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
