Thursday WLS express
I'm having some of the same problems with being tired. I've been going to bed about 10 PM and getting up about 6:30 or 7. I did take Gina's advice yesterday and did go in to see a doctor. They did 4 XRays...3 on hip/ leg and one on lower back. Everything was totally normal....didn't even show bruising ( that surprised me ). Then why am I hurting? I guess from the impact of the fall. Thank GOD I wasn't hurt though. I was beginning to think I had something cracked or fractured. I have never broken anything at all in my life so I truly wouldn't know what it felt like to break a bone. I am SO happy nothing is broke but I wish the hurting would go away. The doctor said it will probably be a week or so before that goes away. Not what I wanted to hear but I guess it's OK. Not much going on here at my house. My youngest son is taking finals this week in college ( I know his school has weird schedules LOL ). He has 4 semisters at CFNI. SO I will be paying tuition again REAL soon....too soon for my pocketbook. LOL Hope everyone is doing good. Please say a prayer for Gina and her family....if you didn't hear...Chico their beloved furbaby passed away yesterday and trust me....that is like losing a child. SO please keep them in your prayers. Have a blessed day and drive safely....it's been raining here.

VIVIAN-glad you went to the doctor. You didn't mention it-but he probably said to get some REST--right??? DId you not mention it, on purpose--so SOMEBODY couldn't nag you?????...lol...
Thank you for remembering our Chico. He will be greatly missed. 14 yrs is a long time, to be part of a family. He was born, on Christmas Eve, when Chris was in Kindergarten..long, long ago-Chris and Corbin just knew Santa had brought Chico and his late brother, Rusty, just for them!

I am getting a late start again since I worked till after 6 last night, might even take a long lunch if I don't have any meeting scheduled.
I am having to do clear liquids today for a colonoscopy in the morning (50th Birthday present from Doc.). When DH had his a couple of years ago he was allowed a light breakfast the day before but my instructions so clear liquids only, I am sure I will be tired of Jell-o by the end of the day.
Work and bowel prep tonight is on the agenda!

Prayers for Gina and family - the loss of a furbaby IS like losing a child....OH....I just can't imagine losing Alex, my poodle..........I don't even want to think about it....
Not much on my agenda - getting control of my eating and wants of eating crap is going away...
Amanda's surgery is still set for next Tuesday...we are getting excited. I think the "scared" is started to set in with her - which is completely normal !!
I think that Amanda and I are planning a trip to Six Flags on Saturday for a few hours to start the use of the seasons pass. We both need to walk - so we will ride VERY few rides and then just walk around......I think that I may be regreting this on Sunday- but I have learned that the longer periods that I up walking, the soreness of my knee(s) gets better - so that is a good thing.. with the beatiful weather that we forecasted for this weekend - I will want to be outside more than inside - unfortuneately the chores on INDOORS !! yech !!
ANYONE WANT TO MEET US OUT THERE AROUND 1PM??
you all have a great day !
- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.
