Good morning. I'm waiting for the storm to get here. Hasn't rained yet. I guess the dust will get washed off my vehicle today. Hoping for no hail and no tornadoes.

Lots of paperwork to do today and one ARD meeting. I have to go get my mom this afternoon and haul her to the dr. Someone else is taking my stepdad to Lufkin to have a skin cancer removed.

Have a good, safe day everyone. I guess the Houston/Beaumont/Galveston area is the only onethe storm hasn't hit yet.

Been raining and thundering all night here. Gave dog his medication so we were able to sleep last night. Work is all I have on my agenda today.  Niece should be here today to clean,at least I hope they are coming.

Had to buy DH a new iPhone since he never found his.

Good Morning All! Torrential rains here but will clear up for the move on Friday! However, will selecting carpet and hardwoods for the house last night we discovered a leak in the kitchen! Roof is only a month old and has a 50 yr warranty so it should be no problem to be fixed. Just has to stop raining so they can do it!

Dang, hit the wrong button! Flooring gets done wed & thurs then movers on fri and new bed sat!! Love my new house!! And no mortgage life is good. Just got to get through work today and tomorrow then off till mon! So sad to hear of your loss Dana. Glad Viv had good visit with son in SA and let us know what other son is having! Now, go out and make it a great day or just fake it... and stay dry!!!

What color "palette" are you doing the house in? I can't wait to see it...not so subtle hint...I'm thinking a slumber party is in order...

Tks Gina! Remember I still have taxes, insurance, security system, upkeep, lawn etc... I have a lot of Mom's furniture so they are blues lavender pinks and beautiful wood furniture. Walls will need to be painted at some point especially the dining room (mauve with a gross trim wallpaper on the chair railing). kitchen is super cute and kitschy with green and white tile and the wallpaper has lil red apples on it!  Yes I am going to have a party  it will be an open house on a Sunday afternoon and my retired Bishop has offereed to do a houseblessing for us! Thanks for all your love and support over the years you are my rock!

I am TIRED of the rain.    UGH It seems like it's been here forever.   There were tornados ALL around SA last night.    Prayers for the TC guys and everyone else there.    Friday we find out the sex of the grandbaby.     I really hope it's pink even though I really don't care for the name they picked out.  I like the shorter version of it.   LOL   If I am not better from my fall in a couple of days....I will call and get a doctors appointiment even though I don't think I broke anything.  It is extemely uncomfortable sitting down, etc.    PLEASE drive very very carefully if you are out and try to have a good day,

VIVIAN..it's been a whole WEEK..you are still in PAIN...you don't "THINK" you broke anything....You are now a week OLDER....Do you have X-ray vision? Do you have a CT machine in your kitchen? Is there a physician diploma hanging in your den? Do you ENJOY pain?

 LOL  Gina you CRACK ME UP !!!  LOL  I am not in severe pain or I would go to the doctor immediately.   It is painful when I sit for long periods of time.   I really think it is just brusied to the bone.    I have mashed in the areas and have no sharp shotting pains there.    It'll take me some time to get over it I know that.   If it isn't better soon I WILL go to the doctor.    No I have NO degrees hanging on my wall except my hairstylist license and I don't think that counts with this.   LOL  Love ya Gina and I promise I will go to the doctor by friday if I'm not much better soon.

VIV-it just concerns me that you are still in so much pain. We learned in "nursing 101"..it was a few door down from Jesus's 1st grade classroom..that "pain is what the pt says it is" and "where there is PAIN, there is a REASON"...

Yes-it may be ONLY bruised...but wouldn't you like to KNOW, so you can be doing thje proper treatment? Now, I realize the "treatment" may involve you having to SLOW YOUR @SS DOWN--which is probably the real reason you are avoiding medical treatment..lol...I know you want to be in your BEST HEALTH for that future grandbaby..

so take of that baby's GRANNY !!

ok...last thing I will say on the subject...maybe..no promises, though..
