Seven Year Anniversary

I'm sitting here this morning dealing with lots of emotions as I think about WLS and the 7 years that have passed. Lots of joy in knowing so far I've been able to control the food monster and regain. Sure I mess up I'm not perfect but knowing that I never want to see myself like I did before I'll keep fighting forever to maintain a doable weight for ME.

My sincere thanks to all of you that have shared the ups and downs of WLS and life in general. I'm forever grateful for the friendships that I'll treasure my entire life.

Taken before surgery 239.8 lbs, after a pre-op diet and losing 21 lbs.

Yesterday 119.8 lbs.

DANA-your "fence picture" never ceases to amaze me-even after all these years of seeing it. It's just hard for me to imagine that girl is you. You were beautiful THEN, and you are beautiful NOW..but now you can be healthy, chase those boys, run from those men, etc, etc, etc..

I am just sooooooooooooooo stinkin' proud of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Gina, you've been here with me the entire time. I will forever be grateful for the wisdom you've shared and the talks we've had through it ALL. Last year was a very rough one for me, today because of therapy and all my friends I can honestly say this is the happiest I've been in years.

As of 11-10-13 I have had weight gain. Not happy about that.
