Good morning. I had a late night last night, but got home right before midnight. I spent yesterday at Paige's house with her family, e Kings and the Gaidas. We had a great time visiting and then we went into Houston to see Paige's husband in The Beverly Hillbillies as Jethro. He did a wonderful performance and the play was good and funny. I headed home from there.

Today is SS and church, then I imagine lunch out with the big family group. Ben returns to College Station later this afternoon. The weekend went by too fast. I'll look forward to seeing more of him in a few weeks at Spring Break.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Karla

GM KARLA and all! Lazy Sunday here, after an action packed Saturday..not planning to even stick my nose out the door, if I can help it. Did my personal worship this morning..not even going to church today..

The "redneck wedding, at the roller rink" was..interesting...sweet, in it's own way, as all weddings are..the bride wore a traditional dress..everyone else wore jeans...they "forgot" to plan for ask someone to be there to "serve" the cakes and the kids started to storm the table, so Paulette's cousin and I (both whom had worked for HOURS, all day, on these cakes) literally SPRUNG into action, to save the table, and wound up serving. I also "sprung" my knee, apparently, and can't stand/walk on it this morning...crap..doing the RICE routine this morning, in hopes will heal it, and that's only a hyper-extension thing. It'll be my luck that one of the few "non-skaters" will be the one who winds up with the injury!! The cakes turned out really well. I had no ideaa how much was involved with a wedding cake. I was in charge of sharpening the dowel rods, that stick into, and stabilize the layers. I now know, if I'm ever in prison, I know how to whittle my own custom SHANKS..good to know..I made the groom's "ding dong" cake all by myself, with no idea what I was doing, and was quite proud of it. It was uber easy-but I was still proud!

Today is mine and Richard's 21st anniversary, of him putting up with me thru thick and thicker. I know I'm not always the easiest person to live with (*gasp*, *shock*)..give the man a medal. While I was gone yesterday he and the guys set up new bedroom furniture-very pretty. I need to be putting things back in order--but hard to do while hopping on one foot!

Hope everyone is able to have a peaceful, "re-grouping" type of day. Go do something nice for yourself-you DESERVE it!

Congrats on doing 21 years of wedded bliss!  If, and when, I ever get married again and do 4.5 years with the second wife I'll have 21 years in!

I am still alive. And headed out to see our granddaughter in about an hour.
Eating is still a struggle. Do really good just doing proteins for about a week and then have a "relapse" to carbs....Today is one of those relapse days!

 Good Afternoon TMB Family,

I've had a busy weekend to say the least.    I left DFW and headed south to SA on friday am about 8 and hit the state capital about noonish.    Did a little looking around there and then hit I 35 again heading north.    Expedia screwed up hotel reservation so I was NOT happy to say the least but thank GOD the hotel made things right.     Spent the day with my son on saturday and had lots of fun then when I dropped him off at TC at 5 I headed back home.    Got home a little before 10:30 last night and went right to bed exhausted.    Went to church this  AM and then the grocery store and then back home.     I have been cleaning up the "messy house" from my son and hubby since I was gone and doing laundry since.     Have lots more to do today to get everything caught up.    Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian
