Today is work and then chiro. Not much else going on. Hope everyone has a great day today!
I would appreciate prayers today. In a hour I will be on my way 300 miles away from here taking Shawn to the new Teen Challenge where he will complete the 12 month program. I will be driving there with only 3 hours sleep. Not sure if it is excitement of getting out of town or what....but hopefully I will make it there and back problem free. I will be SO glad when these next 6 months are over and I know that he will also. Thank God the weather is nice. Hopefully we will get there early enough to eat at my favorite restaurant on the Riverwalk. Please keep us in your prayers today if you think about it. It will be appreciated that's for sure. VIVIAN-prayers being extended. Please take frequent breaks. I think going to your fave Riverwalk restaurant is the very LEAST you go do for yourself.
If you get too tired, please DO NOT DRIVE. There are lots of reasonably priced motels along the way. Pack a bag, and go prepared.

Good morning, ALISSA, and all!! I already "moved" a little-I just got back from 30 minute walk. Since the 1/2 marathon, nearly 2 months ago, when I tore a thigh muscle, even plain old walking has been a real challenge-but-I've been "cleared", so have been trying to "ease" into it. Longer walks haven't worked out, so I'm seeing how breaking it up into smaller increments will work-for now. I've been doing lots of weights/strength training, but I actually LIKE walking/running....who knew I'd MISS it???
Yesterday was a very busy, but productive day. I managed to squeeze in two ten minute OUTSIDE breaks, to just walk/breathe--something I never do (well-I DO breathe-but you know whatI mean)-made all the difference in the world, in my day. I will shoot for 3 breaks today-coworker coverage permitting. It recharged my brain AND kept me out of the company candy dish!
I hope each of has the BEST day ever-and I mean that sincerely. Maybe pick ONE "not so good habit", and work on NOT doing that ONE thing today. Or pick a GOOD habit-and make one step TOWARD it...

I'm guessing most of y'all already know via FB, I don't have a FB account but got a call from my mother telling me, but Norma's mother passed away early yesterday morning. Pray for her for God's comfort at this time of loss.

Work is on the agenda today and it will be a long one. We are really busy and trying to get a lot of stuff done before I am gone next week. I might need to get co-worker a nice souvenir.
Plan to do a couple of loads of laundry and slowing get them moved to the suitcase.
