Going for the sleeve Friday in Mexico

Hello fellow Texans!
I am traveling to Mexico on Friday for what will hopefully be my gastric sleeve surgery. I am definitely starting to get nervous,excited and feeling even some panic lol. I am worried that something bad will happen like I will fail a pre op test lol. *Sigh*. I am soooo nervous. I have a couple of friends going on the same date as me and I'm grateful to have met them from forums. I don't feel so alone and they will know what I'm going through. A little about me--I'm a recently diagnosed type 2 diabetic who has been overweight for about 7 years now and I'm 35 years old now! I cannot seem to get any smaller with diet and exercise so I am obviously doing something wrong! I know I need help. I've read so many success stories and I am so excited that it's going to happen. I hope I'm a success story! :-) I

 Congratulations to you on your decision to get WLS.   The VSG is a awesome surgery and I know you will do well with it.   I know many people who have had their WLS in Mexico and are very successful with it.     Hang in there....I am sure everything will work out for you.    Please come here and on the VSG board for support and encouragement.    Welcome to the Texas Message Board !!!
