Normally I sleep in a bit more on Friday's since I just work from home, but today I have to go to Fort Worth for a Technology Expo. So, I'm up and moving. It starts at 8:30 so at least I can dilly dally around a bit this morning.

I'm headed to Hillsboro tomorrow morning to see Susan and hopefully a few others. I know Deb and her family and I believe Shawn Marie and her family are coming. We've always got room for more, so if you find your plans have changed, come on down!

Sunday will be church and hopefully at some point this weekend we'll get the final Christmas stuff put up. I undecorated the tree and put some things away last weekend but there are a few other things that need to be put up.Sunday afternoon I head to Wichita Falls because I work all day Monday in that office. Then, I have to leave by 4pm because Chris has high school orientation at 6:30pm. Yes, my baby will be going to HS. I've never been to any of the HS's much less the one he's going to go to which is new.

Hope everyone has a great day today!

Good morning. I'm delighted that it's almost the weekend. It's been a rough work week. Ben is coming ome today after class. It's hard to believe it is his last semester already. I kow he will be glad to get that Bachelor of Science degree in his hand in May.

Today I have to test a kid and have a transfer ARD this morning. I have plenty of work to keep me busy today.

Tomorrow I have some cooking to do for. Coworkers who have been I'll. I also have my sweet grand nephews first birthday party. I'm looking forward to that. He is a doll!

Have a good day.

Karla

What will his degree be in? What does he want to do? How exciting for him to be almost done!

His degree is a bachelor of Science in Psychology. He is taking a few sports Management classes this semester and will work next year and save money to go to grad school in Sports Management year after next. He loves sports and wants to work with a sports team eventually.

Good Morning Alissa and TMB Family,

I've been up and awake since 4:15 AM.   UGH I hate when I wake up at that hour.    Monday my middle son will be returning to Teen Challenge.    He is feeling normal.....lol almost TOO normal.    I am ready for himi to go back but he said that they are so busy on the weekend there it would be better for him to return on monday.     I had to make a trip to Decatur yesterday with my youngest son's cat.     Her right eye was pouring blood and I didn't want to pay a arm and a leg to a vet I didn't know.     My vet's office was closed yesterday so I drove to my sisters vet in Decatur.    She is OK....antibiolic shot and drops for the eye.    She usually runs and hisses at me but she came right too me and went right in a kennel so I knew she didn't feel good.   Poor thing.    She even let me put drops in the eye last night.   Not sure what my weekend will be like right now.    I am glad that cat is doing better and that my son ( middle one ) is feeling normal again.    Have fun shopping in Hillsboro tomorrow.    Haven't been to that Outlet mall in forever....probably 10 yrs or so.   Tell Susan I said hello and maybe next time I will be able to make it.   Have a great weekend.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Good morning,

Will be another busy day at work, they just don't seem to end.

I didn't have to go get Dad yesterday he decided he would be fine at home, which I know he is, he just  worried being alone and his friend can't be there 24/7,I know as time passes that will go away in the mean time going to see what he thinks about getting a medical alert system.

We are having our Christmas with Dad Sunday which means I need to figure out what I am making plus I need to  go buy gifts for the game we play.

Have a great day!

We Can Do Hard Things

Hey You Guys!

I'm at work. Fridays are my down days where I get caught up on paperwork and get to test and all. I have some forms to send home with a kiddo that needs to be assessed for services. I think I'll start with speech and see if he needs further testing. His teacher isn't sure, she just knows "something's not right". My diagnostician on campus hates referrals so I try to minimize them when I can, but sometimes it just truly needs to happen. I get to be the bad guy when it does too- lucky me!

Tonight I am going to the Casey Donahew concert at Billy Bob's. We have floor tickets so that will be cool. I guess I'm getting old- I'd rather pay the extra $5-$10 a ticket so I can actually see the performers vs. having to stand against the rail. In the old days I would have rather been with the crowd.

This weekend we will be at the stock show. I hope it stays warm but I know otherwise. Stinky swine barns are bad, but stinky COLD swine barns are even worse! I'm not sure if she shows Sunday and Monday or just Monday. Either way, I hope she does well. Last weekend Bailey took 2nd in her class for both shows and took 5th overall for the ENTIRE show. Not too shabby! I heard that there is prize money but I'm not sure. Paying back the entry fees and corn dogs that were purchased while they are there would be good enough for me.

Gotta get some work done!
Love you guys!
Tracey
