Had to read Vi's post a few times today.......
My son, Austin, is about to graduate and wants to join the Air Force and go into Officer School. We found out he had a warrant for a ticket he did not pay (I am giving him a break - he is only 22 and he got the ticket 2 years ago!) I called his father and asked if he would split the cost of paying it off with me. his father told me that child support was that was for that sort of thing. (OK - he is 22 - c/s ended at 18......)
Not an issue - his stepfather and I will pay it off. But it just makes me so mad that some parents think their respnsbilities to their children end at the age of 18.
That said - eating is going a little better. Mike is really kicking in to help me. And I am SO, So ready for school to start again on Thursday.
