picc line...?
Had my pre op testing at Forest Park Medical Center in Dallas. Went pretty smooth till the blood draw. I was told I'd need a picc line. She implied it would be thru my chest but I felt "googlie" and it looks like its normaly thru the arm & routed to the chest. Hmm.... Guess I'll add that to my laundry list of questions for when they call Thursday to confirm.

I have one thing to say on Pic lines - I didn't know what that was - until I ended up in the hospital about 3 weeks post-op.....severely dehydrated.........now I know what they are...........
I have one word to use..........RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Just kidding....... I was a little sore that evening of the input and they gave me a warm pack to lay on my arm and that really helped...but I didn't have one during surgery time...:)
They put it in my right upper arm by my armpit - in the most sensitive area there was..
took 2 hrs to peel the tape off of my arm 6 days later.................that sucks..
